This newest match has something super special about it!
Big Sister Shoniqua was once a Little in the program too, exactly 13 years ago in March 2012 Shoniqua was introduced and matched to her Big Sister Shay. Shoniqua plans to provide support to her new Little Sister Maibel in the same way Shay provided support to Shoniqua over the last 13 years by showing Shoniqua kindness, care and providing guidance. We are so inspired by Shoniqua; growing up a Sarnia-Lambton youth herself, believing in her community and doing the hands on work it takes to be a mentor and leader. We are so excited for Shoniqua to take on this next chapter in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program!
On Shoniqua and Maibel’s first hangout they painted their nails together, went to the park and had so much fun! We are so thrilled for Shoniqua and Maibel!
